Art meets Engineering...
An exploration of methods and materials.
Anism.org is currently undergoing a makeover and should be fully functional within the next few weeks.
In the meantime, check out Iron Engineer, the slightly heavier side of imagination as the medium used is iron and concrete, glass and other metals.
To the left are a few examples of what organism is all about.
Seductive photography rendered in oil on canvas,
clockwork driven brass butterfly with movement drawn from observations in nature.
Wrought iron chair inspired by vines and tree roots.
Celtic art inspired by the wisdom of the ancients.
Building a gothic door for the new studio/workshop,
detail of a piece of stained glass for the same project.
Organism represents one mans journey through life driven by an insatiable urge to learn and create. Whatever the scale or medium, the more challenging the better.
As the site develops there will be blogs on the bits in between the above topics, ranging from sailing to restoring wind instruments, Kung-Fu and Tantra... maybe even poems and recipes.
For those of you who really want to explore a little further, following are a couple of links to my facebook photo galeries. I'll reformat most of them to this site, when I get a spare weekend!
